We help ambitious, values-led businesses grow without the people problems holding them back. We’re the strategic and hands-on HR partner who gets in, sorts it, and sets up systems that work for real people – not just the policy manual.
Founded by Tara Anstee, an experienced HR consultant with over 20 years’ experience across tech, manufacturing, and creative industries, “I created Zest HR because I saw too many small business owners unnecessarily overwhelmed by HR complexity, people issues, and conflicting advice”.

Tara started Zest HR because she saw too many small business owners overwhelmed by HR complexity, people issues, and conflicting advice.
With over 20 years of experience across sectors — from creative agenies to tech to manufacturing – she knew HR could be simpler, kinder, and more effective.
